My name is Birgitt Pajarola and I reside in Sharon, Connecticut  working as an independent travel advisor for PROTRAVEL International, a large Travel Agency.Inspired by my travels to some of the most remote and less travelled corners of the world, I began to study digital photography at professional workshops in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In 2006 I attended a National Geographic workshop with photographers Gordon Wiltsie, Jerry Courvoisier, and Carlan Tapp on location in New Mexico. Followed by a workshop with Eddie Soloway "The Natural Eye" at the  Ghost Ranch. My curiosity to experience different cultures brought me to Yemen, the Himalayas, Bhutan, Kashmir, India, China, all of South East Asia, the Middle East, Turkey and South America.I photgraph with two PENTAX SLR's various lenses and seldom use a tripod since it restricts my movement.
